In collaboration with legendary South African shaper Spider Murphy, we have created a surfskate that represents surf passion at its best!

The Curfboard x Spider Surfboardskate is an exclusive limited edition that brings together two brands sharing the passion for innovation and the goal of maximizing the true stoke of surfing.

These unique boards are hand-shaped by Spider Murphy and are glassed using a special durable surfboard technology. Equipped with Curfboard Trucks these boards provide the ultimate surf experience out of the water. Surfskating barefoot, pumping effortlessly and doing turns just as you would in the water on your surfboard. The boards come with two wheelbase options to adapt to your personal stance. Fitted with footpads instead of regular grip tape, riding one of these boards will make you feel as close as it gets to surfing.

The idea of creating the Curfboard x Spider Surfboardskate decks originated from recycling broken surfboards and factory waste, such as leftover glassing in Spider’s shaping bay. These decks have been upcycled from otherwise wasted material, making them more environmentally sustainable than regular decks.

Spider Murphy has been shaping surfboards since the 60s and has been at the forefront of surfboard innovation, having shaped for over 20 world surf champions in recent decades. In addition to being a legendary shaper and master craftsman, he is also an enthusiastic surfer who uses these surfskates himself during training sessions or pre-surf warm-ups almost every day. Even after shaping over 90,000 surfboards, Spider continues to dedicate his effort and attention to each board, paying careful attention to its purpose and exploring every detail.

As this is an exceptional product, we have worked on creating artwork that captures the oceanic essence within the realm of craftsmanship, technology, and high-quality production and materials.

While not as durable as wooden decks, these glassed boards require some additional care and attention. However, any dings can be repaired just like on a surfboard. To protect these exceptional and precious boards, they are accompanied by our new Curfboard Surfskate Board Bag, which is included with your purchase. This travel bag is not only great for carrying your board but also for protecting it. It also prevents a moving surfskate from damaging your surfboards while driving in your car. Like a classic surfboard travel bag, it is fully padded and reinforced at the edges to allow you to take your surfskate board well-protected wherever you go.
